One of the oldest and largest covered markets, and is located in Eminönü’s neighborhood! The interior and exterior of the market, which is located near the equally famed Grand Bazaar and is the oldest after it, had a significant refurbishment.

The Directorate General of Foundations repaired the dome, roof, and cross corridor vaults, as well as resurfacing the original decorations of the Prayer Pulpit, a notable spot where shopkeepers would assemble every day before opening for business to pray for prosperity.
