Requirements for a Safe Bicycle Ride

Before you set out on a ride, make sure your bicycle is in good working order. Take a look at the brakes and tires. If you suspect a problem, do not ride your bike until it has been repaired.
For a safe ride, a helmet is essential. To protect yourself, do not ride without a helmet.
When the red light is on, do not cross the road. Keep your eyes peeled for the green light to turn on. Follow the guidelines.

During turns, keep an eye on the traffic. Maintain a safe gap between you and other vehicles. Throughout the journey, keep an eye out for other vehicles.
While riding your bike, avoid becoming distracted. While moving, avoid using phones or other such devices. This is critical since accidents can happen at any time.
If there are no bike lanes on the route, you should take the right lane. Riding your bike in the opposite direction of traffic is never a good idea. Sidewalks are for pedestrians only. While cycling, avoid using the sidewalks.
To be quickly spotted by other drivers, it is preferable to wear brightly colored clothing.

If you are riding at night, we strongly advise you to bring a flashlight with you. Riding at night without a flashlight is unsafe.
If you’re riding with a group, stick together in a single line. When you’re side-by-side, don’t make any turns. Make sure you’re not in the way of other cyclists.
Keep an eye out for parked automobiles. This is the most common form of mishap. As a result, keep a safe space between yourself and parked cars while riding.
